Get Certified!
Joining us on June 23rd-24th at Wellington College will be joined by Prodigy Learning, a Microsoft in Education Partner, who will be hosting a Microsoft Certification Centre.
On offer will be Microsoft’s Certified Educator (MCE) certification programme which validates that educators have the global educator technology literacy competencies needed to provide a rich, custom learning experience for students. MCE is mapped to the UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers Technology Literacy as is a great option to support all teaching staff.
In addition the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) and Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification will be available. Details on each programme are highlighted in the Certifications section below.
If you would like to book an exam slot in advance, please click here. Walk in exam slots will also be available on each day. Space is limited so advance booking is recommended.
Skype in the Classroom
As well as the sessions in the Library, our colleagues from Skype in the Classroom will be hosting sessions connecting attendees with subject experts and Skype Master Teachers, including the Night Zookeeper, who will be joining directly from within the walls of his magical Night Zoo.
You can find out more about Skype in the Classroom and many more of the virtual fieldtrips that classrooms are going on everyday, through the Microsoft Educator Community. There are also a wealth of teacher CPD resources, lesson plans and more to be found on the MEC.
Creativity, Innovation & Technology at the heart of a Multi-Academy Trust
There are some familiar faces appearing elsewhere on the main agenda, including Tom Rees, Head Teacher at Simon de Senlis Primary – a Microsoft Global Showcase School. As a Director of the NPAT Partnership, Tom now works alongside the head teachers of these six successful schools in a Multi-Academy Trust through a creative and collaborative partnership based on peer review.
Tom will be giving a talk on Thursday 23rd June, entitled Creativity, Innovation & Technology at the heart of a Multi-Academy Trust.
