You may probably have used this extension for Visual Studio Code when you work html or xml: Auto Close Tag
And this extension Auto Rename Tag would also be useful for you to work with html and xml! Just same as what Visual Studio IDE does, when you rename one HTML/XML tag, this extension will automatically rename the paired HTML/XML tag.
With these two extensions, I think this user voice could be resolved now.
