We’ve confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 09/02, 11:45 AM UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 09/02, 11:00 AM UTC and that during the 45 mins that it took to resolve the issue customers who used Live Metric Stream feature, wouldn’t be able to see their live metric stream data in Azure portal.
- Root Cause: The failure was due to a configuration change to one of the back end services.
- Lessons Learned: We have collected required telemetry data during the impact period which we will utilize to avoid such re-occurrences in future.
